This is an absolutely classic african roadside vending stall - no one wants to sell their wares inside, how is the customer going to see your stuff??? so it's all jumbled side by side along the road, no matter how dirty or dusty the road is making it!
My big friend in Maputo - it's just SOOO wrong!!
We're told that the locals say this house is haunted, thus no one loots it for the lovely mosaic tiles. Apparently this is where all the political killings use to take place.....
And then there's the train station designed by M. Eiffel of french tower fame - i might have already showed you this one...?
Did i show you House On Fire, in Swaziland? This crazy, artistic place is basically an indoor-outdoor theatre (these are the indoor box seats!) that is the home of the Bush Fire annual music festival. These guys are WAY into mosaics...
The ticket booth!
I'll post some more cool photos from Lesotho and South Africa and beyond as i get them edited!
Cheers!
